GVNA Executive Leadership Breakfast announces ALS advocate as featured speakerNancy Frates
(Gardner News) – GVNA HealthCare has announced that the keynote speaker for the 9th annual Executive Leadership Breakfast will be Nancy Frates, an ALS Advocate whose son, Pete Frates, was the inspiration for the Ice Bucket Challenge.
Frates will present “Achieving Your Goals with Passion and Perseverance” on Thursday, Oct. 18, from 7:30 to 9:15 a.m. at Great Wolf Lodge, 150 Great Wolf Drive, Fitchburg.

In Frates and her family’s journey to defeat ALS, she has spoken around the world to inspire others to achieve their goals. Her engaging talks and inspiring story have influenced many leaders in the business, philanthropy, educational and nonprofit worlds. Nancy also serves as a national trustee for the ALS Association. Her Ted Talk, on Ted.com, has been viewed more than 1 million times, and her corporate, inspirational speaking has taken her all over the world, including Mumbai, Austria, Sweden and Australia.
